Congrats Cubbies. Many of us in the Tampa Bay Area feel as if it is a victory for us down here. So many ex Rays. Our old manager and your MVP of the series Zobrist was a hero down here.

Amazing. A 108 year championship drought banished...and the goat it rode in on.
Fireworks around the neighborhood last night, though it must have been midnight when the game finished. Wonder what celebrations they are planning downtown for the weekend?
I wasn't really believing they would pull it off, right down to the last out. When they blew their early lead to go into extra innings, I was pretty sure they were done for.
Good Cleveland team. Tough luck for their fans. They'll be in the mix next season.
