Queens Arena - All things pool

Just seen this advert in a Queens programme from last month . Didn't even know this business had opened in the Arena

Maybe I've missed it but I've never seen it advertised anywhere . Officiall site , Standard , Courier etc . Has anyone got more information on it ? How many pool tables etc

Never knew anything about it either & can't recall it being advertised on the Queens O.S. Surly all businesses in the Arena who pay good money to Queens should have help advertising their new ventures ????

There was a young lad handing out leaflets prior to a home game a while back, but that's all I have seen.

Maybe a good idea for the official Queens website to have a link advertising all the businesses that are now in the Queens Arena . It's a win win situation

They appear to be stockists of pool equipment etc. rather than a pool venue. See their web site below:-

It's exactly what it says on the advert Shuggie . It's a great set-up and worth a visit . Sure it's run by a local woman who's travelled the world playing pool very successfully . Nip in and have a look tomorrow if you're at Palmerston folks

Thought this was a very good point you made so I have asked about it in the 'chat' section on the OS.

Presumably, he means the online "help" chat which should be at the bottom right of each page. Its something we're trying out to see what the uptake is like and how it might be best staffed.

On the subject of promoting Arena businesses on the website, it is a good idea and one thats been discussed before.

The main focus of the website, though, is the club. This season, we've started match previews and been working behind the scenes on email marketing. Next on the list is probably the Community, as there are a lot of things going on that could, and should, be on the website. Theres also, arguably, more we could do to promote the various companies, clubs etc that support the club by taking different sponsorships each season.

The Arena stuff will come but most likely after some of the other things which are more directly related to the club

Of course the main focus of the website should be the club but let's not forget all the businesses in the Arena pay the club very good money to rent out their premises . Doesn't really take much to put a quick update on the OS to inform fans of any new ventures
Please take this as constructive criticism and nothing personal
