So he's perfect when we're winning but terrible now.

Yes he's made mistakes but now he's useless.

How many on here have been today yes some but the others oh been out shopping or couldn't be arsed.

How many went to Bradford when we won 2-0 for our promotion push oh but that's ok cause we're winning.

Pathetic some on here chucked teddys out.

Yes criticism is warranted but ffs half won't be there next year anyway until we have another promotion push.

    Fickle.

Best part is on forum some are experts but oh no I've not been today cause I only go when we're winning.

Hmmm, let's see, the playing squad is poor, even by League 1 standards, probably two years reconstruction needed but we could make significant progress in the two transfer windows before 2017/18. A major overhaul of our management, training, recruitment and development set-up is needed, it looks dire but this could be achieved in 6 -12 months. Training facilities are adequate for League 1 but remain a priority, there's no sign of movement so let's say 2 -3 years to completion. On this basis I'm not too pessimistic, we could turn things around quite significantly in months rather than years.

However, the major stumbling blocks, given our track record, is recognising and prioritising these key areas, having an action plan in place to delivery them and someone to drive the plan forward because I don't have faith in the Board's ability to do that, we only see knee-jerk reactions once a crisis is upon us. Nobody seems to have the foresight to identify problems before they arise or to plan for the next 2, 3 or 5 years. We've taken the saying 'one match at a time' far too literally.

What has this got to do with the OP which asked how long would it take to reconstruct our entire playing set up?
Whether or not people go to games is entirely their choice and I don't see what it has got to do with the fundamental problems afflicting the club.
I think you'll find that support at most clubs increases when they are doing well and reduces when they're doing poorly. It's human nature and hardly rocket science.
However, I still don't see what your comments have to do with the question about reconstructing the playing set up.

    But now he is.

Yes he's made mistakes but everyone having a dig at him constantly just smacks of only interested when we're doing well.

I can understand people writing us off in the Championship this season as it has been pretty dire up to just

But to start talking about going down to Division 2 in eigh**** months time is a bit OTT in my opinion
