The match preview for this game is now on the website
I would like to add that expecting miracles from a manager who has watched his squad play one game and trained with them today is asking a lot.
Let's at least allow him the opportunity to bed in, assess his squad properly and bring in 2 or 3 new faces in the January window and then pass judgement on Naysmith.
If we're completely turned over by Hibs at Palmy at the end of January, then we have much to fear, but if we at least compete by then, or dare I say it manage to put one over on the prospective league champions, then Naysmith will have done a good job.
That match is a little under two months away, - and that allows plenty of time for him to re-train his squad to his own liking and bring in players that will make a difference.
I would think it only reasonable to allow a new man some time to make his mark, - and even some of the best posters on this board, (who are legends in their own mind) would struggle to turn round a team like Queens in just two short months.
On the other hand, if matters have not improved dramatically by then, the writing would be on the wall and Queens would have a few days to find yet another managerial replacement and some fresh faces to avoid the drop before the window slams shut, - so in many respects it is squeaky bum time!
People should be free to decide for themselves how they spend their time and money. I agree with Jardi that Naysmith needs time to turn things around but if some players decide to swing the lead then I'm afraid I won't be endorsing that by giving them my hard earned cash.
People are free to do whatever they want with their money of course but if they class themselves as supporters, maybe they should ask searching questions of there own self if these actions are going to improve matters long term. I would be interested in who you think may be " swinging the lead" ? Millar was the only casual one on Saturday but that's his style of play.
hay guys im sure we will get the usual bump up in confidence under a new manager ,so for the first time in a good few weeks i can see a queens win ,and im sure mr naysmith will bring in a few faces in january ,1 at least will be a central mid player and a person with a better iq than forest gump can see thats where our top priority lies ,iv watched queens play since 1979 and iv witnessed far worse queens teams than what we have atm .i predict queens will come out fighting tomo night and win comfortably .
