I live in the West of Scotland and have voted in all Scottish and UK elections and referendum since i became of voting age, because i was born here and havent lived anywhere else. Dunno why Ireland popped into your head.

Wouldnt get too caught up in my username, Seumas, reflects my West coast and Highland heritage, "bhoy" is just a tag to show which club i support.... My politics are fairly left, but am prepared to back any campaign from centre politics that promotes Scottish independence. I see this as the only way to return Scotland to socialism as the Labour Party have abandoned it forever.

You clearly missed the part I posted which said......."My politics are fairly left, but am prepared to back any campaign from centre politics that promotes Scottish independence." Once Scotland gains indepedence, I can see a more socialist breakaway Scottish Labour Party emerge that will get back to proper socialist policies thats reflects the hopes and aspirations of the nation.

I'm curious to know how the SNP are considered right wing. Their social policies are on the left. Economically they the dont have full fiscal control but what economic policies are considered right wing?
The snp in the 70s and 80s were probably right wing. But then, going back further Scotland actually voted tory in the 50s and in the 30s. The 'Scotland always been labour' is a myth.

In any case, in respect of indpendence, the snp are a means to an and and in an independent Scotland there would almost certainly be a vote for labour and tory sided parties.
