Exactly, and hes a smug slimeball as well of course
When he'd stabbed us in the back and left for Bristol, our chairman invited him as a guest to Wembley for the Johnstone's Paint Trophy final against Oxford. And he made it clear he was there scouting our players, it was totally disrespectful and so typical of the bloke.

    Nothing wrong with ambition.
What's wrong with wanting to manage a bigger club?

Are you saying you've never been peed off Newcy with a manager who's left you for a 'bigger and better' club ?
I admit Johnson did exactly the same to Oldham when he stabbed them in the back and joined us, it shows theres absolutely no loyalty anymore in footy. He said Bristol is his home and he didnt need asking twice to go and join them etc. But my argument against that is if another bigger/better club came in for him, he'd stab Bristol in the back as well no doubt.
Hes had millions to spend there at Ashton Gate and now their fans are starting to lose patience with him, and their complaints sound very similar to what we have said about him.

Acido, I have no idea of how old you are, but I am somewhat surprised by your comment " it shows theres absolutely no loyalty anymore in footy." I think that the last time I thought there was any sort of loyalty shown in football was well over 30 years ago; probably when Steve Bull commited his playing career to Wolves. Anyone think of more recent example(s)?

Maybe your right Bill, there arent any 'one club players' around anymore. These days player contracts arent worth the paper they are written on.
