I know a lot of shinty players, none of whom have any desire to sing the praises of a Glasgow Nazi, unlike fans of Sevco.
Check out 54DeadAndBuried pyoor raging that he can't sing the praises of a sectarian murderer
I am trying to figure out what it is about this song that the Zombies find so appealing that they stole it from the old club. Is it...
- Being a Billy Boy, a supporter of the Nazi Regime in Germany, that also violently attacked strikes and had links with the KKK ?
- Being up to ones knees in Fenyan blood ?
- Giving your the victim the choice of surrendering or losing their life ?
An utterly pointless ditty unless you are a violent Nazi thug with a penchant for racism and not averse to murdering a fellow human being.
the buns should be able to sing whatever the phukk they want......onywan that spits the dummy o'er a song should gie themsels a shake.
but this is yahoos were talking about here, the perma offended......those who are quick to jump on the easily offended bus when it suits......the very same folk who would claim anti oirish bigotry if some o their own less than savoury songs were banned.
imagine the uproar next time marching thru georgia was played at an OF game at ibroke

just saying it like it is.....you want one set of songs banned......but still love to gie your own "traditional" ones big licks
Not wanting it banned, personally, just want to know why any Zombie would think this a great song to have connected to their club ? I find it an utterly bizarre concept to sing about at any time, nevermind a football game. Its up to the custodians at Ibrox to tackle their songs, we all know they wont as they cannot alienate their main revenue stream.
