A point gained rather than 2 points dropped in the end.

The two youngsters on loan are having a great impact early on and both finding the net also.

Would have happily settled for a point before kick off but re Naysmith's post-match comments ("I'm disappointed for the players that they never held on. We have to learn that if we're in that position again, you have to take the hurt that we're feeling today and not let a two-goal lead slip away.") might we not have had a bettter chance of the win if we'd kept Dobbie on and continued to take the game to them for the last 5? I've seen us screw up so many times by sitting back and letting the opposition come at us.

This does appear to be a recurring theme. I was surprised that Naysmith never changed the personnel earlier in the second half.

Maybe I'm being naive but it strikes me that the more time the ball spends in the opposition's half the less likely they are to score.

This is a bit harsh as Dobbie was not taken off until the 88 minute being replaced with Hamill. We were away at Tannadice, they were frenetically attacking us with only a few minutes left and virtually ever manager worth their salt would have tried to shore up the defence and hang on.

Maybe. Still got a sinking feeling when the substitution was made. That 'here we go again' feeling. I take your point though. It's not to say that we'd have held on either way.

On a more positive note I thought we gave a great team performance and the new boys fitted in well. Debbie's finish for the first and lay off for the second were masterful and the new boys in general performed well. Naysmith seems to be turning things around. Onwards and upwards!

I am very pleased to see goals coming from midfield. They have been as rare as a very rare thing for the last few seasons. Full marks to the manager for identifying a problem and bringing in the personnel to attempt to solve it.
6 goals in the last two outings, here's hoping we can score a few more at the Rock.

Let's hope goals keep flowing at the right end.

"As rare as hens teeth" would be a good phrase to use for Queens former midfield performers.
