    We are still going down...

Warney is still a press ups man.

Brecks is a Hospitality greeter and Hammy a Juniors coach.

Still no training ground and poor infrastructure etc

It's impossible for those players to put that effort in weekly and they are still not good enough.

The first line is the point of the post for those that missed it.

We may have been better off losing!
Kempo, I agree that we need someone else on the coaching staff. We also need more players.

But we are not down yet! By my reckoning any club in the low thirty point category could still implode. Unlikely but you never know. Nearly all clubs have bigger budgets to spend, but I have noticed a renewed heart about the place since "My Moaning Jackett" left.

If and its a big if we can get 2 or 3 players who will buy into the Warne approach theres still a chance. Yes Brecks is the Hospitality guy but hes no mug when it comes to footie. Didnt he persuade Ronnie to go for Alan Lee?

As a doctor, you know more than most that where there's life there's hope. On the other hand as a gamber you will probably reply there's no use flogging a dead horse. Only we ain't dead yet. Keep the faith.

True, but I always enjoy seeing a swallow - anytime of the year, but especially after a long, barren winter

warne has been in charge for 9 games and if his 9 game form continues till the end of season we will have 36 points. a long way short of what we need so a few of those losses need converting into win/draws.

Well, if that happens, then at least we stand more chance of regrouping for next season and healing some of the psychological harm of constant defeats with no sign of a recovery

The burton game at home was the game that made the light at the end of the tunnel even more dimmer.

Take out Newcastle we have some winnable games coming up in the weeks ahead.

    Barnsley Blackburn Nottingham forest wigan.

The next 8 games will be crucial to this season as we play teams that could get dragged down into it.

we certainly need some away wins to improve that figure, but whatever happens we have had something to cheer about in 3 of his 4 home games.

Yes I get the content of all the post it's your closing line that sounds a tad bitter….

As for me I got a spanking yesterday thanks to Bolton!

Slightly clawed some back today with both Man Utd and Liverpool to score but not enough to cover yesterday…C'est la vie..

This season we are constantly thinking that we might not hear another swallow.
