backed mailshot twice at 6-4, £400 both times, then posted it on here and went back for more. couldn't understand why it was showing 'SP' instead of a price but had another £250 on anyway. The withdrawn horse was 11-8 fav when I had the fist two £400 bets on.

When I got back they were loading up with only Mailshot not in. Baffled to see only 3 runners. Hoped N/R was the original fav. No such luck. Swings and roundabouts I suppose. I was playing roulette at the time, £200 up and nearly missed the race altogether.

U r a nice guy Frog. Kempo is a baddie for deserting horses for footie bets.

    Great bet zilzal.

    Well done.

I am awaiting the proper flat racing before I get back on the horses.

Many apologies for thinking you were dead when clearly you are alive and kicking.

Hope you keep today's winnings in your pocket and please stay clear of the roulette or it will certainly go back.

Barnsley have just scored which is not good for my £130 on Leeds at 11/8

    I've been talking to myself!!!

Kempo proper flat racing. It was proper flat racing when we Cauthen, Piggott, Carson, Eddery. Now it's like prem' football at the top level. Ridiculous prize money for running in a field.

A winner is a winner. When I was gambling proper I used to back on cartoon races in the bookies.

    You haven't got a clue.

GWRU, what an absurd figure you cut. You only tip on Saturdays and have a scoring rate of approx. 95% losers. Not a single person in their right mind would put even a fiver on anything you put forward. Your credibility as a tipster is less than zero so you're wasting everybody's time with your weekly ramblings.

The whole idea of this thread is to help fellow Millers to win some money not to pack them off to the poorhouse. I hardly tip on here now because only Kempo seems to be a serious punter. Last year I put up CARAVAGGIO 3 weeks in advance of his next race which happened to be at Royal Ascot. As an indication of my serious intent I said I was having £1,000 to win. That is to say I was sure of Cara winning the race which he duly did easily but alas he got knocked into so had to miss the rest of the season.

Also in 2016 I had my first £2,000 bet on the a/w at Kempton. Now there's no going back as I always tip responsibly and stake accordingly. I've had one losing day, maybe 2 in the last 2 years. That's not bad as I bet at least 5 days a week.

One other thing. Jockeys are the servants of their masters, the owners, not the trainers. If Carson was around now and Lord Weinstock told him to get up to Wolverhampton to ride in a £2,000 race he'd have to go. You can't **** with your retainer. Ask Paul Hanagan and his ex-employer Sheik Hamdan al Maktoum.

    Great tipping Zilzal.

    Keep it up.

    Only two losing days...Wow!

When I come back I will be following your tips.

    Good luck!

Have a safe journey Kempo. How many trips to NY is that now? As for the sun and sea...I hate it.

Again I always travel independently. No hotel booked or anything. Can't break the habit of a lifetime.

If only our detractors had known this years ago. Plus, probably many other things.

Oh and join Stan for the Blackjack. Unlike any other betting site I've known the house has to stick on 17. That way with 6 packs you decide when to stick low and make them bust for a change. Most rewarding and considerably less frustrating.
