I can accept the fact that he's made mistakes and shouldn't be immune from criticism.

But for me he loves the club and I think he will want to put this right.

Like I said he's earned the right imo to be given time to sort it.

We're lucky to have him but he does have to learn how to protect himself in what is the corrupt world of football with all it's unpleasantness.

We all wanted an interview and we got one.
So now he's been honest that's not good enough.

I agree he needs help with the interviews it's really not his thing.

I said at the weekend my patience was wearing thin and I wanted to know what the plan was.

He's come out and tried to explain the thinking behind what's happening.

Not answered all my concerns but it sounded to me like he's attempting to make right what has been done so time will tell if it's going to work.

What are the mistakes that you say he keeps making?.

I think he has made the repeated mistake of raising the expectations of some supporters, but that's about it. I think he has been unfortunate with his choice of managers, but I don't believe he has acted in bad faith on that. I suspect that picking a successful manager involves more luck than judgement.

    than judgement.

Sorry Pocket. You won't like my post on the Radio Deedar link and I'm not repeating the comments here. Just don't get where you are with TS but as you say, it's each to their own.

No problem Pete I respect your opinion.

    Just don't agree with it.

Great thread and opening post Pocket.

Your view is typical of the majority of realistic fans views.

People on here will say different of course, but they are wrong.

If anyone wants a bet. In terms of percentages of who agree with pocket we could base it on season ticket sales for next season.

    I'm saying 80% will re-new.

    Anyone wanna bet??

Where I cannot and will never agree with you, is about the names. He has employed Paul Warne for a number of years now, he MUST have heard people calling him Warne thousands of times, even the interviewers call him Paul Warne, his name is in the programme, on the club website, in every official document and in every facking newspaper as WARNE, no bloody S on the end, so, I don't think it's irrelevant at all, not only am I a pedant who has a massive desire to see things done correctly, I also think it's highly disrespectful of Tony Stewart to not know Paul Warne's name by now!
It's the North Stand singing 'Paul Warnes red and white army' without an apostrophe that's confusing him.

I agree. If my boss didn't know my name it would irritate me. It can also give the impression that his involvement within the club isn't that great which I don't think would be the case. Not listened to the interview by the way so I am only assuming he has called him Warnes again.
