I forgot to mention the Spanish prison figures above, which surely must be the worst of all of Europe. In a country that only has a 3.7% Muslim population, a huge 70% of the prison population is Muslim.

There's clearly serious problems in prison with regard to the huge amount of Muslim prisoners, well out of proportion in the UK, USA, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Belgium and Holland. And that's only the ones I have looked into. Pretty crazy for the so called religion of peace.

Ellis, I'm not saying this is categorically untrue. But not all sources of information are equal. 'WikiIslam' is a 'wiki', ie can be edited by anyone and there's no other source given for that information on its page. The Mulsim Issue site is a blog (Wordpress - can be set up by anyone) and uses the WikiIslam page as its source.

The Express article - I don't like the line that paper takes in general but accept those stats are most likely true. It does say "Immigrants as a group still commit less crime than Germans."

It goes on to say "But some immigrants, particularly those from North Africa, have shown particularly high rates of delinquent behaviour." In some ways it's not surprising that refugees/immigrants are more likely to commit crime, because there are similarities with those from any country more likely commit crime, ie low wealth, not as well engaged with society, experienced trauma and difficult prospects. (Also perfectly willing to accept that some will not try hard enough to improve that situation before turning to crime, but again that can be the same anywhere). I would argue the world is overall a better place by helping refugees, obviously meaning a host country feels a burden, but with an net benefit of bringing great relief from suffering.

By the way I'm no supporter of Islamic beliefs (or any religion based so strongly on a book, the motivations for the writing of which always seem to be affected by power and politics). I just think using data from reasonable sources to back up arguments is important.

A Swedish police officer has also bravely spoke out about how almost all the crime he investigates is by immigrants, many of whom called Mohammed, Mahomet and Muhammad.

As a result he's now being investigated for hate crimes.
