The owners of Blackpool subsidised their "business" and themselves out of the club. TS wants a successful club but within it's means.
We gate-crashed the championship and during our stay the football landscape has changed around us - the championship getting tougher more this year than ever.
Having "saleable assets" has helped the smaller clubs compete - notably Barnsley.
We are ( TS is ) a victim of our / his own success in that we didn't grow "organically" - we bought a squad / year which we couldn't possibly do this year.
We'll have a great season next season once we've all put in context our relegation.
It will be just a small club - with a small budget - living within our means - the original plan "A" of buying the best squad we could afford and moulding them into a fighting force was a good one - but TS pulled the plug .....
Plan "B" - Throwing money at chasing the championship dream was never going to happen......
That's why we should have persisted with plan"A".....because - despite it not working ( but not given time to work ) we would have a better manager for the furture - with him and his team learning so much this year.
