    Burton (away)predictions

This is a match that we cannot lose
    that is the minimum requirement
with a new manager in place we can hope for the bounce that's needed
unfortunately I think we will just about get the minimum.
    1-1

After the Man. Utd. performance, and given the inevitable desire of players to impress the new manager, I am feeling a bit more optimistic. However, it's definitely one of those "iffy", nervy matches.
I believe Mowbray was some sort of mentor to Emnes at one point, so I am sure he will start.
I wonder if he will stick to 4-4-2.
After the last game, it is hard not to pick Mahoney, Conway AND Feeney, but they won't all fit!

    The result? 2-1 to Rovers.
Mowbray better watch out for the LT comment-column, though. If we lose, the wild-eyed ones will be getting the guillotine ready! Mind you, I bet they wouldn't say anything to his face. I remember he used to be treated with considerable respect by centre-forwards!

Actually, Alf, my uncle tells me that the latest plan from Venky's is to relocate Blackburn in Pune and to rename the club the "Nuggets".

Maybe your thinking new manager syndrome Sax? It can often happen. Lambert won his first away at PNE. Hopefully Your right. This wasn't a game we would've won under Coyle, that's for sure.

Robin - 72% possession and we still couldn't win?!
    What was your verdict?
