As I have said before I wish Gavin all the best in his return to playing. He perhaps was not honed from the right stuff for football management but always came across as a really decent human being which may have been the issue prior to finishing at Queens.

Now that Chapman has jumped ship and headed off to Clyde I wonder what the odds are for Skelton returning to the managerial position at Annan? I suspect he will be installed as firm favourite but after fleeing the job at Palmerston it will be an interesting decision that Gavin will have to make however by training in Annan he would have less travelling issues from Cumbria and therefore less impact on his young families life.
