Norwich also want Rowett and they have lined up an interview, in place for him to try and tempt him to work for them but Derby is a more ideal place for his family as they live in Birmingham, which is not far away and they don't have to relocate. He knows everyone at this club and the history behind it and is also a former player.

And there's me thinking he still lived in Duffield!

I thought he lived in Duffield too. Rowett, Warburton or Wagner - after two more months of Wassall - for me. Any of them would be a huge improvement but my money's on Rowett.

He was born in Bromsgrove, Worchester South West of Birmingham. He did live there with his family but now relocated in Duffield.

Personally Warburton would be my choice, but I guess Rowett is as good as any.

Seems like Forest might be in for Warburton, Swale. Must be mad but if true it'll be their best appointment for years.
