If the stadium is rejected with reasons that include greenbelt or lights then the training facilities won't be able to go there either. They might have shot themselves in the foot trying to use the training facilities to get the stadium approved when there wouldn't have been any opposition otherwise.
Needs to go though. If this was the stadium only they were proposing surely nobody would be supporting this.
I have scoured Google maps and there are very few options in traditional city for a stadium, although, Seaton Park could easily accommodate a stadium, The BoD end of The Esplanade also. Plenty of room up Shedocksley beside the pitches. Or just bide where we are and have a decent 14000 stadium.
