Well I never. I've just read this absolute pile of sh1te. How much you being paid Paul?

The most laughable bit "....how much worse could result have been...." Paraphrasing there.....well not ****ing that much mate.

If this happens, which despite the pantomime that is Mr Stewart, I simply cannot believe.....then my call will be once again for the Chairman to stand aside and sell up.

I agree, but that type of person is called a football manager,

Warne, yep nice guy, what we need, no sorry.

I think we're over analysing it though. It doesn't matter what other attributes Warne has, the most important one he has is that he's the cheap option. Regardless of Tony Stewart's smokescreen comments Warne has ticked the one and only box.

It's starting to mirror our last relegation from the Championship...

Club legend Moore sacked... Relegation with a whimper...Appoint clueless Harford...Sack him after a short while...Get Knill in on caretaker and appoint permanently on the cheap...Club in free fall.

Club legend Evans sacked... Relegation postponed by Warnock... Appoint clueless Stubbs...Sack him after a short while...Get Warne in as caretaker and appoint permanently on the cheap...

Where's the dislike button?? What a horrendous, powder-puff piece of 'journalism'. PD has shown himself to be just another jester in the court of TS.

Warney just needs to get himself a clown's outfit and he is nailed on for the job.

Other than us name a single club in the FL that would appoint Paul Warne as their manager?

Don't think there's one person on here who want's Warney as manager, me included but want him to remain at the club.

TS must take notice of the fans. Got to. Season ticket prices sure they were out this time last year. That's a good sign. Tony Stewart must want to keep as many as possible of the season ticket holders. Manager we can believe in that's what we need, that's not Warney.

So thus far MM generally against the appointment of PW - on football grounds!

Or am I missing something ?
    ( keep it clean )

I think the PD article sits well on MM - But it's tone and acuracy befits a posting written by some VERY biased postee.....

    NOT a professional writer.

As all the local media rely on the shreds of a story from the likes of TS - could we assume PD would (under TS orders) present us a "TEST PIECE" - as a marketing tool for the club....

Perhaps to test the water of appointing PW....

I thinks all votes are in !

OK - the silent majority haven't been heard but taking MM as a "sample"....I think .....The nays have it !

Just because you've been a footballer doesn't mean you'll be a good manager, no matter how many badges you get.

55 years watching my club but this is a kick in the bollox too many .George Kerr was bad enough but this appointment if it happens is far worse.......
Totally agree. A famous and successful manager once told his players: "If you want to enjoy your football, go and play in the park". Players need to fear and respect their manager, not have a laugh with him.

Not a great article .......... again Paul and I'm wondering if you have lost your impartial glasses.

"He hasn’t been able to reverse the slide towards League One - nobody could with the squad he inherited"

That is a shocking one liner imo and immediately rubbishes the author's article.

It seems we are wasting our time and that Warney will be appointed. Most fans will cringe at the thought but what else can we say? Good luck if you get it Warney, your own fate will be in your own hands and expect the expected.
