Best post I've seen outlining the present situation Leeds.
It is what it is so lets get on with it and support Warne.
Good luck to the lad as he will certainly need it.
A new day dawns, the sun still shines, the birds still sing (at least in Harrogate) and all's well with the world (well, we can skip that one!). The dust is starting to settle on the most bizarre appointment in the history of the Millers as supporters come to terms with yesterday's events. Warne's accession to the throne on a one year contract provides yet more evidence of the paucity of resources, a fact denied by a Chairman who continues to identify a sizeable, albeit still mythological, budget. Time will tell if it exists and if our newly installed software can help invest it wisely, an aim that has eluded us throughout the TS tenure. NYS excluded.
Hopefully the coaches will be arriving shortly to transport the ne'er-do-wells, the sick, lame and lazy, the aged and the infirm, across the Pennines to their final resting place, to those bastions of a byegone footballing age - Bury, Rochdale, Accrington... Then the new signings will start arriving, filling us with ephemeral hopes and expectations, dashed when we realise they're but replicas of the ones recently departed.
The Board will continue its deliberations, trying desperately to decipher the FA Handbook on Rules and Regulations, to comprehend the meaning and usage of a Business Plan, to come to terms with contemporary transfer budgets and starting salaries. Alas, all to little avail.
The Chairman will outline plans for completing the NYS development, for a new training complex, for new medical equipment... for a new approach, for implementing lessons learned. Supporters will smile benignly and search the skies for another Pukka Pie.
A new day dawns - but is there a new era in sight or will everything remain the same?

Scary isn't it? Warne is in a unique position though isn't he? The only manager to be appointed and have little expectation of success from the fans.
Nowt we can do though apart from find a way to get at that pie in the sky.
After the euphoria of the new stadium, the promotions, Wembley, the Championship... this season has brought us back to earth with a resounding jolt. But we shouldn't view it as a failure nor a disaster. We are who we are and we are where we are. We should reflect, enjoy the memories and move on - and look forward to the next time. Good luck, Warney...
If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can dream - and not make dreams your master;
If you can think - and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same;
If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with kings - nor lose the common touch,
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
If all men count with you, but none too much;
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run -
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man my son!

Iam still coming to terms with it. Rotherham united was supposed to be"transparent" when TS took over. I dont belive anything he says now .As a "customer" that cannot be good .
Good post Leeds.
Coaching staff could help make or break the team so need to be chosen wisely but I won't be holding my breath that's for sure.
Next game I go to I'll be appaulding the team when they walk out the tunnel like always then it's up to them whether I sing their praises or not.
Duck tape will be going with me
I'm taking the duck tape for you millertop 😜
