    Should O/Ts be limited.

I like a good topic but find over hundred replies to unfootball related topics a bit much, when all said & done it is a football forum.A lot of its point scoring & look at me I know more than you.Like I say I don't mind them but they do go on a bit.

I know what you mean Morgan. It's a real pain in the arse having to click on them and read all 100+ replies because it is mandatory to do so.
If only we had the freedom of choice to pick the ones we wanted to read.

Why don't we have a system where they put OT on the post then we can tell if it's off topic that way you can choose to read it.

    No that's too complicated.

Some folk do just flock to the O/T threads for their own agenda, sometimes to spout bile, to get into arguments enabling them to flex their keyboard muscles.

Clue is in the O/T though. Stick to the footy related threads where some posters flock to to spout bile or get into arguments enabling them to flex their keyboard muscles.

Truth is they will be pigeon chested to55ers who still sleep with the light on.

From what I've seen RUFC has very little relationship to football so why don't we mark those topics OT. That way everything is OT and if everything is OT what's the point in putting OT?

Welcome back mate,my point was it's a football forum & when an o/ts gets more replies than most football posts just so they can tell the board how clever they are on all subjects & reply to the same post over 20 times.
