Do Eiba score goals?? Lol.

Rush was the culprit in getting underrated players and spending over the odds that came from his own fricking Wasserman agency and none of the players he bought suited our style of football and players we never even fricking heard of before.
He tore our whole team apart in that 4-0 win, showed the sort of character and commitment and eye for goals our players was severely lacking, to get promoted from the Championship this season and the sort of player we need in order to win promotion.
Was this the game at Griffin Park just recently when you gave us the running commentary as if you were there, but later, upon questioning, confessed to the fact that you were not there?
Have an opinion by all means, but dont have a go at MOP for having a different view to yours, just because they were not at a game. Neither were you at the game, but you are bigging Jota up - so why does that make your opinion better?
I didn't say I was at the Brentford game and yes! he has his own opinion and debate and we have the right to agree and disagree on such matters, and I have been a huge admire of Jota for some time and have been following his work ethic for quite some time, and know quite a lot about him to know what a top quality player he is.
Its interesting how different people view different players. For example on Transfermkt site the following values are put forward:
Jota £ 1.02 million
Ince £ 5.95 million
Hughes £ 6.80 million
I am not going to argue as to how accurate it is but RELATIVELY this makes Will worth 5 times a Jota.
Brentford have just triggered a 12 month contract extension for Jota and so the above value may be undercooked because at the time it was set he was going to be out of contract in a couple of months: but even so he still only has 12 months to go. On that basis the £ 2 million value that MOP has suggested might be fair - but only on the basis that Ince and Hughes are worth 6 million each: not ther 10 or 12 that have been bandied about.
His eventual value would also depend on whether a bidding war ensues, but you have to realise that being a good player does not necessarily make you worth a lot of money on the transfer market. Length of outstanding contract makes a huge difference as you can hold clubs to ransom and negotiate better personal terms with a soon to be expiring contract..
Sol Campbell crossed north London on a free and won the title twice at Arsenal - Pirlo and Pogba went to Juventus on frees. Ibrahimovic on a free transfer to Manchester United this season. Great players all and cost not a penny in transfers (apart from agent fees!!). Why - because they were out of contract and could negotiate salary deals for themselves and not transfer fees. So Ibrahimovic gets 367k a week plus bonuses and PSG got nothing.
That's why we listen to Roger about financial matters. He has a professional understanding and backs it up with facts. It's too easy to just be impressed by a one off performance. I remember watching Nathan Ellington destroy us, for Bristol Rovers I think, and thinking he was a world beater...if only we could get him. Then we did and he was rubbish...managed a goal about every nine games.
The whole valuation thing is interesting though. For instance, I'm sure Jeff Hendrick went to Burnley for £10-11m and surely no one would argue that he was the equal of Hughes...wasn't even a guaranteed starter for most of his last season with us.
Likewise with Ince...he has scored fifteen goals for us this season compared with Chris Martin who has not managed that many for a free scoring Fulham side. Martin is said to be worth £10m and yet Ince, who is a good few years younger, is possibly only worth a little over half that amount.![]()
Looks like you are smarting again ..... not the new Scholes who will be captaining England first team by the time hes 23 like you predicted. That £15m he was moving for at Christmas four and a half years ago never materialized did it.
No serious approaches and managers dropping him and not rating him as he "not an all round player" ....
Are you going to admit I was right again!?!?!?

I think based on what Rowett has been talking about, Will may not be ideal for the style going forward, that said, I think we will get 10 million for him and I think he will have a more illustrious career than Hendrick.
It saddens me a bit because I had high hopes Will would be the next homegrown talent to get an England cap while playing for us in the prem.
I'm still confident that Will, in the right set up, will flourish and prove a lot of people wrong, England caps and all.
