Me & my mate used the sasperella shop every home game from 9 years old.

Always remember catching Sunny side bus in All Saints Square, when going to my Aunties.

Other than that it's Badsley Moor Lane. My old schools and Herringthorpe where I spent a few years as a child.
Do you remember Chemist Lane Brin?,that's where I spent my early years, Carters Rest at one end and the Effingham at the other, which is now The Kingfisher if it's still there.

Talking STEAM my wife and I travelled on the 'FLYING SCOTSMAN' last month...the smell was amazing and the sound of the engine pulling up an incline.....

Robin Hood Bridge was my steam memory on the way to Thornhill School.

The foundry at the end of Clough Street and the opening of your street - if memory serves....

Hi gm, the pics are from the Rotherham Family History Society.

I`ve been looking for a pic of my parents early 60`s without success, can`t for the life of me remember the exact year.
You more than likely know that up at Clifton Park there`s an Archive Centre, well worth a visit if you need to do any research.
It can get busy up there so sometimes you have to book one of the projector machines.

Kingfisher was demolished about 3 years ago Lincs. Now there's a engineering factory on the land where it stood.

A lot of the pictures for Steelo`s can be subject to Copyright rules so I`m not sure how you would download them.
You can apply to the people that have the Copyright and they usually give access if it`s for a good reason.
