No! I expected to have a full clarification on which players we were going to be selling from our current squad list and who was staying, but this list release just tells us 3 players who were released for free and the whole current squad we are keeping. So all in all it didn't really tell us who? we was selling really, so this just became a pointless release list.

It's not a 'pointless release list', it's just standard practice at this time of year with all clubs.
Gary Rowett will know who he wants to keep and who he wants to move on (hopefully) but he's hardly going to make it public...that would just make getting a decent price and recouping some of what we've spent even harder.

How would it make a decent price and recouping some of what we've spent even harder? Telling the fans who we are selling, doesn't bring the valuation down lol! who on earth gave you that assumption?

R4J...look at it this way...you know when stores have 'Sales'...that's when people go to the shops expecting to 'bag a bargain'.
They know the stores have stuff they want to get rid off and the expectation is that this 'stuff' will be sold off cheaper than usual.
It's the same with footballers...if DCFC put it in the public domain that the club has half a dozen players they want to get rid of then we might as well be offering them in the 'sales'. The expectation will be that we are willing to get rid of them 'on the cheap'...and that is how it would make getting a decent price and recouping some of the millions we have spent even harder. No lol because, frankly it's difficult and it sure ain't funny.

We wouldn't recoup the price we bought for our players anyway and that's why most clubs do the cut price deal because no one will pay top price for a player that a club is offloading, they will only pay top dollar for a player that they want that the club has not transfer listed.

Are you for real? 'They will only pay top dollar for a player that they want that the club has not transfer listed'...that's what we've all been telling you...that is why they are on the retained list and why GR hasn't seen fit to put who he wants to move on in the public domain.
