My mother once complained to the teacher because my brother was sat on a table which was all Asian apart from him. After being called racist by the teacher she explained that the issue wasn't about race, it was because my brother came home complaining every night that he couldn't understand what they were talking about due to them speaking urdu. I can't remember if it was junior or infant school but it was definitely a point in his life when exposure to the English language with his peers was *****.

Genuine question Monty. You were a trotskyite yourself once. I am sort of puzzled how someone on the extreme left can suddenly be changed into an extreme right winger. What happened to the bit in between? I consider myself to be left of centre. Not swp, not sort of centre labour, maybe left labour. If my views were to change they would either push me towards SWP or more central labour...sort of TS incremental. i wouldnt become a Tory overnight even if someone strongly influenced me to let alone UKIP or any other extreme right wing organisation. Its like me becoming an SWFC fan tomorrow. I'm a miller its in my blood. You cant completely erase your life views and suddenly replace them with some completely different ones.

I suppose what I am trying to say is how can anybody change from one extreme view to another extreme political view in one foul swoop. Surely political views are somewhat entrenched then adjusted because of socialisation etc.For instance, no matter how much anyone tried to persuade him, Elliss far right views at best will only slightly move to the centre because of his entrenched beliefs. The scum responsible for Manchester have sunk to a new low, but I suspect they'll sink even lower before anything drastic is done, if at all.

Multiculturalism and immigration can work, I'm an immigrant myself.... most of the others in this country (US) are too, but people move or moved here to love their new country, live the American dream, integrate, and adopt American customs as best they can.

Sadly, that doesn't seem to be the case for many of those flooding into the UK. They hate their new country, it’s laws, religions, customs and want to harm the very people that welcomed them with open arms.

People say he has integrity, even though he supported Remain when he's always opposed EU & it's Labour policy to support Trident even though he doesn't support it, promises free stuff to everyone to get votes even though he knows we wouldn't be able to pay for it, the train stunt, he isn't even the nice guy they paint him as, he's very thin skinned and short-tempered as seen in Neil interview and previous ones.
