I agree freer but not all the signing flopped. Chester Kodjia Taylor Johnstone Adomah all did pretty well. The Viking bloke in midfield will be good next season along with Lansbury and Houraine. Hogan and McCormack have yet to provide any value so far and I would be tempted to off load them both and get crouch or Gayle. Proper strikers you know what your going to get from.

Despite the club spending over £36m on strikers last season , a lavishness no other Championship team afforded our total of 35 goals was pitiful

Crouch is one dimensional- we need a much better doctrine than “plan B” of lumping high balls forward & Crouch isn't that solution- he ain't in the first flush of youth either Bongo

As for Ashley Young joining Aston Villa word on the street is Steven Spielberg has offered him a role as diving instructor in Jaws V Unsportsmanlike Tw@t !

I see no reason why he would not want to sign for us and finish his career just like Jedi but at 31, maybe he has 2 more seasons in the premiership left in the tank. IF he leaves utd then a return to Watford would be my guess, that's where it all started for him!!

We need a midfield Dynamo.....who? well I have no idea at the minute, I could think of one player I would love down VP and that's Danny Drinkwater from Lychester!! at 27 could we prize him away from a sinking ship? why not.

Talking of ex villa players I see Curtis Davies went to Derby for 0.5m. We might have missed the boat with that one unless we get someone better.
