There are 2 seperate companies (KPMG and another) who are looking at everything. It's been hushed up, in the same way the Venky's business as a whole is being looked into. I actually do think it's serious, dependant on the findings. Things could potentially get much worse and administration could be the only viable option. They are in a bit of financial trouble themselves.
Ok so they've backed Mowbray and given him 2 years, and allowed him to get Wittinghan in early. But Lambert was given longer, promised more, and that went sour very quickly. I would take everything they do with caution. And more will leave. I'd expect Steele, Graham, Mulgrew, CM ( those 2 for sure) and a few more to raise funds. I'd be shocked if someone didn't come in for Lenihan, who for me is our best asset. Keeping him and building a team around him and Whittingham is the best option to getting back up straight away. Which Mowbray knows and will likely do. And get the balance right between older, hard experienced pro's alongside some quality youth, which we do have.
