Rumours - summer signings

We have 15 players that have departed and ok they are not all first team players, but we only have 3 new players that barely gives us a team. To add to that, 2 others are coming back off their holiday with offers on the table(Flood/Murdoch), another that we dont want(Donaldson), and another wants away(Fraser)! Who can say they will all be here in 10 days time?

I have heard mention of as little as 3 new players still to come, but as much as 11 targets. For me to be happy, i would like to see 6 new players, Goalkeeper, Defender, 2 midfielders and 2 attackers in this week, and another couple of players before the cup starts. If we dont get that, it will show the clubs ambition for what it is!

But this close season, the gold is all sold long ago and there is precious little money floating around for the squad! I wasnt around here in the times that Gunboat speaks about, but i tell you, i hear him loud and clear now!

Well we'll all just have to wait and see what happens then won't we? Some will sit tight knowing we have time, others (usually the same guys each season) will come on here and greet like **** about it. Its what we have in place by the start of August that matters really.

It's mental. It happens season after season yet people still don't get it. We've signed 3 players already. There's still 10 days till pre-season and a month until the Betfred Cup. We'll still be signing boys come the end of August as well due to how the loan system works.

The club can take as long as they like sorting out the squad, chasing and failing to get targets, bringing in two unfit central defenders like last season only for one of them to be a useless CH and he then replaces the guy we bought for RB, whilst we sign a guy with no pace to play upfront that scored one great goal then disappeared.

I think everyone knows that to be the case and impatience can creep in where it feels like nothing is happening.

I'm pretty sure behind the scenes will be frantic just now but at the same time it would be good to get as many players in before the first day of pre-season as possible so the team spirit building can begin..

As soon as we get players in, the manager can start working with them.

I just want to se things happening, get the juices flowing again.

Not really though, we were top of the league at Christmas. It was after that our problems started.
