Germany, Italy, Czech republic or Portugal, if i had to choose i'd take Italy or the Czechs for the semi's,
avoiding Germany and Portugal if possible,
should we qualify for the finals couldn't care really, well not Germany our penalty record against them is an ongoing curse to say the least!

Portugal lead Macedonia 3-1 at the moment with 20+ minutes left, they will go through 'for now' if they make it 4-1 though.

So Portugal went out last night, and Italy & Czech Republic went out tonight.
That should mean its England v Germany, and Spain v Slovakia in the Semis on Tuesday 27th. The only problem with that date is Iceland put us out of the Euros on the 27th last year.

By the way, they are already playing the qualifiers for the next Euro U-21 tournament and England are in the same group as Scotland, Holland, Ukraine, Latvia, & Andorra.

For some ridiculous reason, head to head results count before goal diff and goals scored. So Italy's win tonight means they actually win their group ahead of Germany, and they will play Spain in the Semis.
Germany only go through as best runners-up despite having one of the best goal diffs.

Acido: I might be wrong but I seem to remember that the Spanish league is decided in the same way. If for example Barca and Real finish with same points then it's the head to head results at count then goal difference etc etc.
