I think people would have found fault whatever he said.
However, he has probably been a bit naive stating numbers as not many managers do that.
Perhaps he'll get more media-savvy as he grows into the job...........if he's given time.

Saying he wants a top 10 finish, this is cheap as this is easily achievable for us make no bones about that.

Anything above 10th therefore makes him look like he's done better.

Mind games with figures Warney. Just crack on with it and stop making silly statements.

Really want this to work for him but he's brought in his own players as his own methods so falls on his own sword if he fails.

A few sleepless nights coming up for him but he's being paid well so let's wait and watch what develops.
