from the photos i saw of training, it looks to me like Rooney has trimmed down a tad, which is exactly whats needed. Its fine being strong and being able to hold opponents off, but when your as slow as a ryan jack transfer its not ideal.

I think the boy has not choice but to turn up. He's been a total non-event so far, hopefully for everyone he gets the finger out.

Maloney replaces Pawlett,

Stewart replaces Mcginn

Taylor needs replaced , as does Hayes .

This means with the players that have left & the players we have signed, I would like to see us get a Centre half, a winger & another striker, Hopefully May.

Then we can think about improved Squad fillers whom will put pressure on the starting 11,so they don't think their place is guaranteed.

I've been thinking exactly that as well. I felt sorry for him when he did get his chances last season, seemed like he was trying too hard, summed up by THAT miss. I wouldnt right him off yet at all.

Shinnie will play in midfield along with Tansey.
We won't sign a LB as Harriet is expected to push for a first team spot there.

I see us playing much narrower, with all the players confident of shooting from outside the box it will be a different way of getting through packed defences.

What are you on about?
The pre-season pics he looked pretty athletic.
Hayes had a poor first season and I think there could be a great player in there for us.
I would not be so quick to write him off.
