Not an exact science football is it acido , look at that young Arsenal so called wonder kid we had on loan a couple of years ago , absolute pants .
Remember the young John Walters on loan about 12 years back , he was carp but look how he kicked on .
You just don't know do you till they start playing .

I agree that a players reputation (whether he has one or not!) shouldnt and doesnt prove anything, and we shouldnt judge until we've seen them play a few games. And proper games as well, not pre season friendlies. However, Im feeling really underwhelmed with the whole thing at the moment, we've lost all but 1 of our famous Wembley Jpt & Play off winning squad now and for who eh, all kids who havent kicked a ball at this level before.
I do trust Hecky but hes got a lot on his plate this coming season. Im concerned he might even be one of the favourites for the managerial sack race thread, which you can find on this board actually lol.

Ahh so not pingpong, your on about Daniel Crowley the Gunner ? He who showed potential but didnt follow it through, and ended up on loan at Oxford and wherever after that. A bit like the kid Harry Chapman as well eh, and that shows the frustrating side to the loan system.

e was young and trying to show off NOT "DO A JOB" ! ....He'd be fine in a settled side and then he wouldn't have to go OTT to impress scouts about his "Potential".

Most are just slumming and that showed a little with several of our premier - loans.....( Liverpool lad who tried to lob keeper from miles out ) forgot the knobs name.....Probably on 3 mill / week now...lol

Acid & Animal venturing on the TIVOLI wouldn't have been met with so much warmth. And rightly so....they would have been there to cause a disturbance as they are now.....they are Barnsley fans....on a Rotherham United forum !

Benign enough I suppose but why - Barnsley are selling the family silver - perhaps ?......So there's enough to discuss on the Barnsley site I would have thought.

Hope that player does well for himself at Barnsley as a stepping stone to a bigger / better club....perhaps he'll jump ship to remain in the championship after next seasons relegation. Touch wood !
