West Ham United striker Ashley Fletcher has emerged as a target for Watford and Burnley, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.

Fletcher joined West Ham last summer from Manchester United after running down his contract at Old Trafford.

West Ham landed Fletcher for a minimal £1million compensation fee and they could now be tempted to sell the England Under-20 international to make a huge profit on him.

Hope so, think he'd be a good replacement for Gray should he leave, which seems likely.

Hate to say it but Gray is as good as gone!

Just a question of how much???

So far , Championship side Middleborough are the only other club reported to be interested. Assombolonga will prefer a chance to play in the Premier League so it would be a surprise if we weren't favourites to sign him.

Opening bid gone in and lessons will have been learned from previous poor negotiations in past seasons. Forest , like West Brom, don't bring good memories of being clubs you would pick to deal with.

If Dyche wants the player, which he does, I expect the transfer to go through.

lol here we go again. Wanting a player on the cheap.
You lot really are tight arses.

For your info, we sold an 18 year old for £13 million last season with a further £5 million of add ons.
He had played for us 25 times, over half as sub.

Assombalonga is under contract for another 4 years.
He's scored 30 in 65 games, despite struggling with injury.
We have new owners who are/have been plowing money in.
We are under no obligation to sell anytime soon.
You want him, then it's going to cost. A LOT!!
