Just wondering how high you think we should go to secure him that's all.

The Catch 22 is, in our transfer market, we are competing against low English Championship or Div One teams. These teams will never play in Europe, therefore they have no pressure to buy/sell.

Very much a quandary and puts us in the situation we now see annually. AFC, need to do deals, no-one else's does.

You can forget May. Alex Neill has said as much, as has Derek McInnes when he said "players circumstances can change", alluding to the fact he has a new manager who rates him & will give him a chance.
We missed the boat. If we'd offered Preston the £400k they allegedly wanted when Grayson was in charge we'd have him.

And in any case, do we need May AND Moult, when we have Rooney?
In 95% of the time DM has been manager he's played a 4-2-3-1.

You could argue we'd be better spending £400-£500k on a good centre half as we haven't had one since Russell retired.

You could also argue that we should spend money on Moult AND a centre half seeing as we have the cash for selling Jonny Hayes
I think we'll see a lower league English based centre half signed similar to what we did with Taylor & O'Connor. Sadly.

    £400k & Miles Storey.
    No higher.
He can sign a Bosman pre contract in 5 months.
If they don't accept, move on.

I think Moult would be a good signing...........defensively we need upgrading........a good central defensive general is required (no idea who tho) hopefully DM has someone in mind and is working one it as I'm typing.

When is the cut off for Euro registration as hope he can get it done before then.

when we have just signed a striker in Maynard, why would we sign another striker.

A central defender or winger needs to be our wildcard signing

Centre half is a priority in my opinion then a decent left back. Centre half's, well decent ones these days are few and far between, even at top level there seems to be a distinct lack of top class centre half's.

Miller and McLeish would be worth a minimum of £100 million each in today's market. Even Brian Irvine would be commanding seven figure sums easily.

Moult I rate and would be happy with, think he's pretty decent.

We will not be signing a left back.
Harvie is well thought of within the club
