OT. The futures Bright, the Futures Brexit!!!

Regarding 4 R, is it just a feeling or can you personally recount things that are worse for you? Serious not flippant Q, and I ask this because IMO a massive swathe of UK folk are likely to be wasting so much money that any change in prices caused by the uncertainty of Brexit would just be lost in the mix. A lot of the time folk just can't be arsed to 'audit' their expenditure to avoid waste (electric, gas and water are almost impossible NOT to save money on with a bit of effort, phone, TV, broadband close behind, overbuying of perishable goods, blah blah) and I don't actually think such people deserve a Brexit voice on matters of economics

The obvious ones are the fall in the pound and exchange rates which obviously has a huge knock on effect which transcends the cost/expense of just holidays, together with the fact that I have immediate family in Europe who's immediate future has suddenly become potentially much less secure.

Beyond that, I actually feel 'European' and want to live in a country that gets along with its immediate neighbours as part of a united Europe. I am also sick and tired of switching on the News or reading any half decent newspaper article (this precludes the Sun, Mail and Express) and coming across more talk of 'economic uncertainty owing to Brexit', advice from manufacturers of everything from Stilton cheese and Melton Mowbray pork pies to Rolls Royce aero engines, that we can only cope with the 'softest of Brexits' when what they actually mean is...'we should never have gone down this ridiculous road in the first place'. Finally I am sick and tired of having a Government which purports to represent me/us becoming totally fixated on a) its own survival b) trying to do the unnecessary and impossible in terms of reaching a mutually acceptable Brexit deal when it should be concentrating on the NHS, Education, sustaining industrial growth, improving transport, housing, fighting poverty etc etc.

4. our government can be removed by the electorate, not so with the EU
5. The internal politics of this country, can be decided on by the electorate without interference.

Not at all sure how the fact that the Pound has been lower at some point in history means I'm talking '****e', but thanks for that helpful contribution.
Andy asked me for examples of how the outcome of the referendum had impacted upon me personally and I answered.
Let's face it, you and I are never going to agree. Our circular argument must be excruciatingly boring to others...it's even become bloody tedious to me.
You seem to believe in some idyllic 1950/60's based England, probably - and ironically - set in black and white, which I actually doubt ever existed. I want to be part of a forward looking cosmopolitan UK that is a central part of a united Europe while you seem to seek some sort of 'splendid isolation'.
It is my opinion that the outcome of last year's referendum has already done our country untold damage. If, as seems likely, Brexit goes ahead I fear for the future of our country and of our young people. You, in contrast, think everything in the 'garden' is rosy, the rest of the World is queuing up to do positive business with us and we're going to go from strength to strength.
That's it...poles apart...little point in continuing...c'est la vie, as they say in that dreadful place twenty odd miles across the water.

I think you've missed a couple of things here R, first is that this all started when Swale managed to succinctly insinuate TTR as a *** tourist and/or a whole nation as being sustained by immoral earnings in one comment, and second is that Swale has yet again withdrawn, probably running the world out of insults elsewhere while you take on the role of apologist for him.
