Majority of wingers tend to be one footed one trick ponies and also inconsistent. It's the one position on the pitch that most sides lack real quality.

In the past 20yrs how many real top notch wingers have there been?

Figo, Giggs and Ronaldo spring to mind with Bale and Robben possibly in same breath.

For the rest it's generally a case of one decent game in every three, Russell and Weimann being two of them. The divisions have been filled with wingers who are very good on their day but don't have anywhere near of enough of them - Kilbane, McGeady, Snodgrass, Downing, Adam Johnson, Chris Eagles etc etc

I'm on the fence with this one, would rather see a young speedy player in the mould of Jordan Ibe I think.
