    Headingley Test

    Is no one interested

England looking not too good now with WI on 386 -7 leading by 128. Just as well they dropped Stokes

Jimmy has 5-70 or so. Needs 3 more for 500. Go on Jimmy

I did not expect the Windies to make such a fist of it after their dismal start in the first Test match.

It's only just capturing my interest again and we will certainly be needing around the 500 total in the second innings!

Great that Jimmy's once again amongst the wickets.

I know there have been many great fast bowlers in history who didn't get the same opportunities to take the vast amount of wickets that today's bowlers take but he till has to be up there with the best.

Once he gets to 500 , he will be within sight of overtaking the only 2 fast bowlers ahead of him in the highest number of Test Wickets. Glen McGrath is top with around 560 test wickets.

Fingers crossed his remaining Test career lasts that long.

Looks like he will get a chance to bowl again this Test with us on 357-7 at tea. Pity no one has made a century or two, but a lead of 188 needs to go over 250 for a win I think.

Yes hope Ali can stay now 218 lead.
he was out off a no ball and they used their last review on lbw for a ball going down leg by miles.
Gabriel now Called into action - lots of swing after the bat!

England scoring very quickly since tea --45 runs in 25 minutes and now lead by 233 with 3 wickets left.
Lovely to listen to Chester Watson on TMS at tea time. I remember him coming as professional to Church in 1961 when I was the scorer for Church. He started off really well and then got injured in a car crash which meant that he missed most of that season.
Lovely guy who used to toake me round with him during the school holidays when he was playing in various benefit matches.

427-7 with Ali on 70 and Woakes on 28 with a century partnership and a lead of 258 is looking better, but not much happening on the pitch so the more the merrier.

448-8 with Ali out and broad in and a lead of 279.
