    Gibbs coming to The Albion.

I've heard that we have agreed a fee of 7 million for Gibbs, seems like a good price to me.

If he comes then this price is fair in the current market given his horrendous record.

If he can perform like he has at his peak, then we will have one hell of player.

It's a shame now that our budget (in this inflated transfer market) only allows us to take chances with players whose injury records are horrendous.

I just pray that our acclaimed medical team can keep them all fit.

According to BBC sport page, the agreed fee is 5 million.

Looks like Nyom is going to be left back then.

This season after season non buying of a natural left back is staggering ineptitude albeit I am a big fan of Brunt and his "wand" of a left foot.

I'd still rather see Brunt wide left than McLean or J Rod so hopefully Chris doesn't become the sacrificial lamb once Gibbs arrives.

They were asking for 13 million a few weeks ago, maybe waiting until the end of the window isn't such a bad idea after all.

I hope he comes because that means we'll finally have a natural left sided full back. I'm with mickd regarding Evans. He's still got two years left on his contract so keep him. Let the future take care of itself.
