I'm pleased Brooks is staying, but I do wonder if we actually had any firm bids for him, as in the man himself's own words, 'when the big clubs come knocking you can't stand in the player's way'. If we'd rebuffed an actual firm approach from someone I can't help but think the club would be crowing about it.

Happy with the transfer window though, good work Mr Wilder and Mr Knill and all those involved in getting the deals over the line.

If we get one good season out of Clayton ill be happy. Everyone get on his twitter. He looks like a great character to have in the dressing room and I think he'll do a job on and off the pitch for us. A little Jamaican flair to the club. Nice move from us that. Very underwhelmed, Donaldson it appears is after one last pay day before he can finish. Birmingham fans are staggered that we paid a fee (no matter how low)

Hopefully he fits into the squad and hits the ground running but looking at his goal tally it makes pretty gim reading th epast couple of years.

As for the centre half?? No real pedigree, surely one for the future. There is way to much money flying around the leagues and unfortunately for us, we have none.

Sounds ridiculous, especially for a striker, but it's not all about goals. If he can get in the defenders' faces and distract them so that Billy, Ched or anyone else can nip and and nick one, I'm happy. I'll trust Wilder and Knill until they give me a reason not to, and they haven't done yet.
