One thing i've noticed in recent years is that ashley's regime is a very tight ship, nobody outside the club knows anything about who we're actually looking to sign until pretty much the day it happens. None of us has any real idea who we tried to sign this window, except for the deals that actually happened. We could've enquired about a dozen goalies, or none at all - only those inside the club know for sure, and you certainly have no more clue than the rest of us.
