One of the best displays by a Leeds team i've seen in years!
Agree with Pete's post that every one of these shyte foreigners and nobody's from rubbish leagues, all pulled together by nepotism seem to be working harder, playing better, and fighting for each other like no Leeds team since O'deary was boss.

Now I know it's early days but at least i am speaking from a position of having actually witnessed the birth of TC's team as opposed to making rash statements before a ball had even been kicked - and this number 9 looks a far better option than Wood in terms of skill and overall teamwork, and though it was "Only" Burton, we have all seen good performances against Sunderland and Forest very recently too. [Burton beat us at the end of last season too] plus there seems to be goals in the whole team now - not a one man band anymore.

Early days or not we look the business so far, TC has the team [all 18] playing as a team and though over half of the players where here last season the difference in playing style and performance, plus fitness levels is light years ahead of what we saw a few months ago.

I predict happy days ahead for all Leeds fans - apart from the troll who has been eating his words since the first game of the actual season LOL.

Finally, this crap untested goalie has now had five clean sheets in the league on the trot!

    WTF - where are youuuuuuuuu.......

Anyone see the championship on Five tv highlights? I listened to the game live yesterday and from Pope and Whelan (and people on here have already said it too that were there) this was a great performance from us. It sounded fantastic and i was really looking forward to seeing it and hearing what the people on there said, given that in the past they've been pretty positive about Leeds performances, and pretty fair in my opinion.

All they said was how bad Burton were really - I'm talking about the studio comment - interesting how they took that line, especially when you consider our other results this year. Part of me was annoyed that they hadn't talked us up more, but actually thinking about it i'd rather people didn't do that yet - let's keep this quiet and between us!! Hopefully we will surprise a few teams in the next few weeks.

One of the interesting things at the moment is i think we all feel like we're going to have a right go at teams and considering what we're seeing, should have a chance to win most games as a result. It's great to feel that confidence and excitement before games isn't it?

As Pete & Tichi state - a very impressive performance full of *****ITY in all areas !
The team obviously reflects the personality of a very shrewd coach indeed and long may it continue.
A joy to watch and cannot wait for the next couple of games to really see what this team is all about.
    Positive ? YES !
    Excited ? YES !

How a team reacts to a loss can always tell you a bit more about their geniuine prospects. But I hope it's a while till we find out ! ☺

Absolutely echo what everyone else is saying, but as usual for someone who's been around long enough to remember the 70s, (and I still remember my dad's mate jumping so high off the sofa he fell over the back when Lorimer scored in Paris.......), there have been a few false dawns, (and quite a few in the last 13 years), so it's actually quite hard to believe what it looks like I'm seeing right now. I like everyone else couldn't be happier, fks sake it's not as if we LUFC fans don't deserve to finally see some good times, but whilst I can't wait for the Brum game, I'm almost more nervous now than I have been for years because I just don't want anything to spoil this, least of all that cnut Harry Redknapp.

On a slightly separate note, I found this report from a Burton reporter a really encouraging listen, it's always good to get an idea of how others are viewing us, and what he says about Sais/Hernandez/Roofe is brilliant, as is how he contrasts this with the games Burton have played against Hull, Boro and Wendies:
