Heaton 7 In control for the time he was on
Lowton 8 - solid and defended well against a good attacking wide man
Tarkowski 9 - so strong and worked well again with me
Mee 8 - distribution dodgy first half but defended well
Ward 8 - a couple of dangerous crosses first half and managed the dangerous Townsend very well
Gudmundsson 7 - great run past their defence in first half and good defensively
Defour 8 - his defensive work was simply outstanding
Cork 7 - No chance to play with Defour because Dyche was outwitted by De Boer but his usual steady self
Brady 6 - one of his bad days and put the defence under pressure by losing the ball too much
Vokes 6 - Very little from big Sam except for one good header first half
Wood 6 - took his goal well and tired towards the end.

Pope 7 - one great save and was steady away.

We got away with it today , Palace outplayed and would have beaten us if they had been more confident in front of goal. Our defence did great against the dangerous Townsend and Benteke. Some great defensive blocks and one open goal miss by Palace meant it was a very unenjoyable second half to watch.
