Just remember PC has said repeatedly that he would only sell the club to the "right" people
    Has he done so?

Time will tell but on paper they look as good as you'd get as new owners

If Patrick's got £20 million for the club plus what was in the clubs till so to speak then good on him , I'd do the same in his position and make sure the family are ok after I pass away .

But lets have a bit of right here , tha condemming a bloke here who hasn't even sat behind his desk yet and tha trumpeting a bloke whose just doubled his money and more on owning this club .

Tha seen a very promising team sold off within months and not said a peep abart it and the end result of that is Patrick getting £20 million for the club when it was on offer for a £1 million ( his words apparantly ) , you could argue that club assets are now in a private bank account .

Both PC and Lee are venture capitalists , only difference is one was from Wombwell and the other from Beijing .

If anyone hasn't seen Moneyball then I'd recommend it , you don't really need to appreciate baseball to enjoy it .

Proper true story of overcoming odds , doing things differently , looking at going tyts up but sticking with it and eventually reaping the rewards .

Play's a good part does Brad Pitt , proper arrogant tw@t who is strong enough to stick with it despite criticism from all corners , proper puts his neck on the line and sticks with his geek stats man .

Re James Cryne and the 'spreadsheet' debacle- I remember posting on here about 2 years ago... some Americans were discussing things with a club employee under the ESL in the 2nd half one game. Perhaps Billie Bean has been involved behind the scenes longer than we realise?

At the end of the day whilst I can see the comparisons , baseball and english championship football are mars and venus .

Billie Bean recommended specialist baseball talent specifically for a role on the roster , he can't deal with a fast ball at bat but he's brilliant at first base , look at the stats y'all .

It doesn't convert because football today requires more rounded talent , Gary Lineker , great goalscorer in the 80's but today would that be enough , I don't know because he couldn't do feck all else with all due respect .

Leave the baseball formula in the US where it belongs .
