... Barnier will already have prepared his response ... " ... you must be joking Theresa! " . We should get ready to tell them to FO and walk away. The EU clowns don't want to negotiate.
... good enough - told 'em absolutely nothing. Sits back and waits for annoyed Barnier to react ...
Kin ell it's like the Chuckle Brothers have started commenting on Brexit policy.
She's basically said "I dropped an enormous clanger triggering Article 50, the thing that Brexiteers said would be really easy is turning out to be really hard, can we have another 2 years please? Oh, and all that money we tried to deny we owe you, we do owe you".
F00kin mental.

Nope, she's just cut her own throat and thrust BJ into the forefront.
She'll be gone inside 3 months. Guaranteed.
Brexit, means Brexit. No pampering, no concessions. They have delayed everything and come up with nothing but ridiculous demands. We should just walk away.
... she's done the right thing - given nothing away, but thrown a sop or two (timing, foreign nationals). Nothing is agreed and it will change. This is still smoke and mirrors. The EU only do deals at 1159hrs. Keep calm everyone.
Eh?
She has just sacked herself. Why is she giving concessions? The two year period is about buying time, for remoaner maneuvering.
The EU, has to date played for time, put ridiculous demands on the table. From money/to free movement/to European law. Not one mention of what they would concede.
The woman has shot herself in the foot. Boris Johnson, will be in control of the Tories very soon. The out voters will not accept this.
I'll still take take the rocky ride ride though, to what Juncker projected.
We were always going to have to pay something....there was talk of 100 billion, and talk of just walking away paying nothing.
Personally, I estimated in the earlier Brexit thread a figure of 45 billion....May has offered 20 billion IF we agree an implementation period of 2 years......Barnier will want at least double that.....over to them
Try and work it out for yourself. Whoever is in charge will have to pay a lot more than the opening offer to leave the EU. Stick with your ludicrous "give them nothing" dream if it helps you sleep better, but your Utopian post-Brexit world officially lies in tatters.
