    As anyone ever heard this saying "thaz got a beet Knee" used to hear it darn pit from owd colliers.

    If tha googles "miner's beat knee" thuz a few solicitors fishing fo compo claims. Caused by repetitive work in tight spaces

    Probably caused by sitting at Oakwell then. If them seats were packed in any tighter, we'd be sardines.

    Monday morning and the knee's less painful and I've got a bit more movement in it. It's still frustrating as I'd like to be able to do more exercises than the stretching one's the doctor in A and E gave me.

    Don’t rush it Ponte it will take time to recover,do as the doctor says and rest your knee.He should have told you that you should not do any household work until your knee is better.Sit in your favourite chair in front of the TV with your leg up (Not Over) and get your loving wife to keep you going with a good supply of bacon butties and cans of your favourite beer which the doctors swear is the best medicine for bad knee’s.You could stretch this injury out for at least six weeks.

    Take it easy mate , complicated bit of kit are knees , loads of parts in there .

    I've arthritis in my left knee , in winter it's not good some days at all so I know how you feel .

    Luckily I've an easier number since changing jobs so I should be ok this winter .

    Cheers Animal Laura nagged at me to get to A and E because she was worried that it might av' been a DVT with me sat at a desk all day. I get it checked out and because I'm not at death's door she's lost all sympathy

    It was good her bringing my Strongbow from fridge though on saturday and sunday because we were at my parents for weekend

    She still thinks I'm putting it on though
