    Gun control LA

Wonder if the Gun control lobby will make any headway after 58 die and 515 injured by one man with 10 guns including machine guns in LA Last night.

Trumps answer of a good guy with a gun is needed to answer a bad guy with one - doesn't work here Donald.

They will never change as it's one of their rights to bear arms, 300 million guns in circulation which is roughly the same amount of people, with 30,000 people a year who die from gunshot incidents.

If all the mass killings such as the one in LV and the above does not make them see sense then they certainly are THICK YANKEES.

I enjoyed visiting the US over the years. Won't be returning.

Possibly “the right to bear arms” was a misspelling, the authors more than likely meant “the right to bare arms” as in it’s ok to roll up one’s sleeves on a warm day

But seriously folks, much of the US is really a backward country. No doubt some of you guys have travelled to the vacation type spots, most are quite impressive, no question. Crossing the Ambassador Bridge from Windsor, Ontario to Detroit, Michigan is like going into a different world, and not in a good way. Over the years I’ve travelled somewhat extensively by car through the Virginia’s, Carolina’s, Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia, Louisiana, Alabama etc. Stopping to re fuel in some of those places isn’t for the faint of heart, gun racks on pick up trucks, gas station attendants with visible side arms….the list goes on.

Believe me it’s a pleasure returning to Canada. US has been ruled by the gun since day one, that’s not going to change., truth is it’ll get worse, if that’s possible.

Just how many mass shootings will the idiots endure before gun control becomes mandatory?

That is one really sick society.

Can't believe i have just watched a i think he was a NRA guy on tv this morning in America telling Piers Morgan when asked what should happen next about changing the gun law. His reply was hopefully nothing will change in the gun laws, i nearly fell of the settee these people are clearly as mad as a box of frogs. who actually needs an automatic rifle in the cupboard at home to dispense with the cold callers at the front door.

When a two year old toddler shoots two three year old toddlers which happened Stateside last week, you know you have a problem!

At least we can reduce our nutjobs to attacking us with vans and knives and the occasional IED.

59 dead and 529 injured now.

No obvious motive and he has a wife who is in Japan just now so not a loner.
Claims he converted to Islam unsubstantiated. No mental health issues known.

Police found 23 guns in his hotel room, as well as "in excess of" 19 firearms and explosives at his Nevada home. The right to carry A gun surely doesn't extend to 42

    It's madness, it really is!

I'm proud that we stick to our weapon restricting principles!

One Dunblane and one Hungerford is more than enough for me!
