As I said previously, the £20 I might lose on this one will be outweighed by the greater good I think May's continued leadership will give.

Really? Thanks for clearing that one up!

Just as well. I could never have sold your products with any confidence.
    1. I thought a 'Pony' was £25 not £20. I believe the bet was for a 'Pony' - to cite my words.

    2. To simplify then: There will be no leadership contest and the longer she's there, the stronger she'll get.

    3. Actually "my" product is now the undisputed WORLD leader, manufactured and sold worldwide with the group having a multi million
pound turnover. But I agree with you, as I said, you have no knowledge of sales or the positive attitude to make things happen.
Actually the equation is very simple ........... Sales + Production = Profit ......... No Sales + No Production = Bankruptcy. Never ever
knock a salesman EP because inadvertently he's the one paying your wages. A typical local example of a risk taker and
entrepreneur would be our own club owner.

Only in that weird little blue bubble that you and Soccerman inhabit! It's an open secret that the Tory party don't want her as leader, they just can't decide when to get rid and who to replace her with. The longer she stays, the weaker the Conservative party will get.

Now we finally agree on something.......the problem is that the Tories need to find someone that appeals to both right and left of their own party.....PLUS to the wider electorate....Boris is my choice BUT I know that I am not Joe Public......I backed Leadsome in the original in-party election and got it wrong.....now I'm not sure who fits the "perfect" bill

Surely that suits you, Sid, Bfp etc. the longer she stays the more chance Corbyn as of getting the top job. I would have thought the last thing you would want is a new Tory leader starting with a clean slate. Depending on who that person is of course.

I saw it as it was in reply to me - and it worries me not one iota. You will have your predictions and I'll back mine. Talking of backing, I'm still awaiting your confirmation our 'Pony Bet' was for £25 not £20......... I wouldn't want to even dream you might be 'Welshing' in some way now that December 10th moves closer........ sorry, apologies to you ...... gentlemen don't do this do they?

Whilst on this subject, I do understand gambling my friend ..... what I've always told you is I don't bet on the horses (a mugs game unless you have the wealth of my old boss) but a nice straight game of three card brag is my forte and I could relate to both heavy wins and losses back in the day when I made real money. Willie Thorne, Duncan Norvelle and the lads, ah the memories - but all finished now.

Actually EP I'm a little weary of all this political banter ....... it begins to bore me. I've just checked the bedside drawer and pleased to say I've still got a couple of viagra left (well I need it at nearly 80!) so as the girlfriends coming over tonight I'll bugger off now and get the wine and other things sorted. As said many times ....... it's a wonderful life ........ it's there to be enjoyed while you can. I don't want to be governed by scruffy, small minded cult following morons that may alter this.

    Toodle pip for now.

Ahhhh...Viagra....bought a decent stash on a trip to Guatemala two years ago (special offer in the chemist across the road from my drinking den there), trying to impress the local barmaid with my "planning and preparation".......after her boyfriend turned up and gave me the "evil eye" for an hour, I took one anyway for fun in the bar.......my thirst grew in intensity...stamina and "staying power" increased...and my solo drinking session lasted longer.....I was impressed

ps don't try this at home folks....it's not too funny when you're trying to pee in the barroom toilet by trying to bend it in half....much to the amusement of the local Guate drunks who find it hilarious

I honestly can't remember the amount, but it's not important. I will hand over £25 if I lose to keep my reputation intact.

Ah ....... sorry you honestly forgot the amount. On further recollection it could have been a ton .... but I trust your judgement
