Im pretty sure everyone on here who is against it will jump on this, but the reality seems to be that they want to put the application in with all the recommendations that were going to come yesterday already accounted for, to initiate a smooth consent on the application, to remove all the backwards and forward stuff.

Ironically, this will likely speed up the process rather than 'delay' it.

Of course, there is always the possibility that SM had a main backer setup who has pulled out, but I very much doubt it.

I'm just going by what was reported when he joined the board in the summer,sold his company in 2016 for £567 million.

If millionaires don't spend their own money who's money do they spend?

And why would someone who sold their company for £567 million want a loan of £50 million?
