    What victims?

There’s been people making allegations but no victims in the Heath case

So don’t act the bleeding heart.

These people victims or whatever you may wish to call them are extremely brave to come forward and nothing to gain but their self respect and dignity just remember that when making of the cuff remarks.

I wonder how you would react if a young member of your family made an allegation that they had been the victim of ***ual abuse. For their sake I hope you would be supportive rather than your usual a*sehole self.

So you'd advocate not spending milllions on historical ***ual abuse cases in Rotherham then, in that case?????

Another 12 charged this week, don't really know the running total, oh, i tweeted the SYP about their incestigations into Police officers, they responded by saying that 9 cases had been investigated(independantly, of course.....)and a further 53 i think were ongoing, of the 9 completed, can anyone guess how many officers were found guilty of wrong doing??

    yep, a big fat zero.....

As for councillors, not sure if any are being investigated, as i've always said though, it needs to be root and branch, get to the bottom of it once and for all.....

If the country once allegedly elected a *****phile to lead the country then we need to know .

We need to know if it was covered up ? are those people still around today if it was ?

We all know about Cyril Smith , the question is how was it allowed to go on without a thorough process and investigation ?

Investigation's lead to lessons learned so it can't or shouldn't happen again .

This isn't about Heath it's about the police trying to justify what they've done.

Interesting to note that the police had already thrown out 2 claims as "proven false"

So why were these "victims" making the allegations? They confused him with somebody else? Or was it to do with the potential compo?

Probably closure Grist. Your arguement about compo does hold water for me. Although it is not what people automatically think of when they read of a victim of abuse we've got to remember that some people are shameless enough to follow things through for the compo although they have not had their lives ripped apart by an act.
The sad thing is that there are true victims who are entitled to compo and they shouldn't be tarred with the same brush.
The police and the CPS have a duty to make sure that the two types of people are identified as early as posible. Unfortunately for any true victim of Heath if indeed there were any can't be given their justice because Heath isn't there too defend himself in front of a jury.

Still needs investigation even if he’s no longer here.

If it was my family I would want answers and investigate if a cover up within government happened.
