I write in light hearted mood, as always, but I do confess that I struggle to fathom the depth of your hatred for McCabe as much as I marvel at your gymnastic ability to turn threads round to air, yet again, what you consider are his football failures. I don't think I'm in a minorty of one.

We all know what has happened, but how ever we felt about it at the time, there is a point where you have to put that to one side and move on, otherwise you end up sounding incredibly bitter.
