Andre Wisdom Has More To Give For Derby

Andre Wisdom says there is “definitely more to come” from him following his summer arrival from Liverpool.

Wisdom started the season well for Gary Rowett’s side but lost his place for the Hull City game due to illness. Chris Baird came in and impressed as part of the 5-0 victory.

Baird kept his position for the next two league games, a 4-1 defeat at Bristol City and the 1-1 draw at home to Birmingham City, before Wisdom was restored for the draw away at Brentford.

“There’s definitely more to come (from me),” said Wisdom. “The manager knows what player I am and I always give my all in every game.

“It’s part of football, some days you don’t have the best game, some days you do. One minute people are saying ‘How great is he?’ and then ‘How rubbish is he?’

“You have to be realistic with yourself and try to work hard if you’re in the team or not – just be a team player.

“I want to be playing football and improve myself and the team so they achieve success. It’s good to be back playing.”

All the best for the rest of the season Wisdom.
